We are delighted to inform you that The World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB) will be organising an online event on Wednesday 14th of June 2023, 9:45am – 11:00am EST (3:45pm-5:00pm CET) on the topic “Presenting WFDB’s 2nd Global Report: Good Practices and Recommendations for the Inclusion of Persons with Deafblindness“. The International Disability Alliance (IDA) will be co-sponsoring the event. Note that the event will be held in English. International Sign interpretation and speech-to-text will be provided. This is a side event organised as part of the 16th session of the Conference of States Parties to the CRPD (CoSP16) which will take place at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, from 13 to 15 June 2023. WFDB President Sanja Tarczay will be physically present and intends to intervene publicly on behalf of persons with deafblindness.
