Our President Sanja Taczay, who is also an European Deafblind Union (EDbU) Executive Committee board member, is currently representing WFDB on a very important event!
That is a complex European and national event taking place from September 25th to 29th of 2023 in Varna, Bulgaria. It is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of EDbU and the jubilee anniversaries of the National Association of the Deafblind in Bulgaria (NADbBg): 40 years of the deafblind movement in Bulgaria and 20 years of the magazine “Sound and Light” – printed organ of NADbBg.
Together with other proactive Deafblind advocates who tirelessly work on improving quality of life of Deafblind individuals both nationally and internationally, the following delegates received a Jubilee Plaque and Certificate: Tamas Gangl (Hungary), Francisco J. Trigeros Molina (Spain), Peter Vanhoutte (Belgium), Geir Jansen (Norway) and Sanja Tarczay (Croatia).
Congratulations to President Velichka Draganova and the NADbBg team for the high quality organization and great value of this endeavor. As the motto of the event states: “We are here, we want our place under the sun!”
