Many participants have not previously encountered role models, making this camp an important learning space. The participants are between 18 and 38 years old. Special attention is given to individuals from diverse backgrounds, including black, indigenous, queer and people with additional impairments.<\/p>\n
The program, carefully designed by deafblind team members, is extremely diverse. The 11-day camp is based on a pedagogical concept of non-formal education, where participants are active learners rather than passive listeners. Activities include games, art, performances, and parties, with each session lasting approximately one hour before a break.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8448\" src=\"https:\/\/wfdb.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Imagen-de-WhatsApp-2024-07-30-a-las-15.54.55_a8c7bd52-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Five participants at the camp, including Frank and Sanja, pose playfully while holding a stuffed bunny.
