discapacidad visual y auditiva\u00a0 cuya severidad hace dif\u00edcil para los sentidos que se compensen entre ellos. Por esto, la sordoceguera es una discapacidad \u00fanica.<\/p><\/div><p class=\"p1\">En niveles diferentes, la sordoceguera limita la actividad y restringe la participaci\u00f3n total en la sociedad. Afecta a la vida social, la comunicaci\u00f3n, el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n, la orientaci\u00f3n y la habilidad de moverse de manera segura y libre.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">Para compensar esta combinaci\u00f3n de discapacidades visuales y auditivas, el sentido del tacto es sumamente importante.<\/p><p>Representando entre el 0,2% y el 2% de la poblaci\u00f3n, las personas con sordoceguera constituyen un grupo muy diverso e invisibilizado y son, por lo general, m\u00e1s propensos a ser pobres, desempleados y con bajos niveles educativos. A causa de la falta de conocimiento e incomprensi\u00f3n sobre la sordoceguera, las personas deben luchar para obtener el apoyo adecuado y con frecuencia, son excluidas tanto de programas de desarrollo como de discapacidad.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2f1e34 elementor-align-left
